This is a FREE event with no prizes (but that might change).
This is a US Chess Rated event!
4 player teams from a club MUST all have active US Chess memberships. To join or renew your membership, go to US Chess.org.
Format…
- This is a 3 round Swiss with G/40+5 time control.
- Team pairings.
- We use the average of the 4 players to determine the team rating.
- When registering, only the team captain has to register. The list of players is added separately.
- You may substitute players on the day of the event HOWEVER, the team is 4 players with no alternates.
Concurrent with this event is the 2025 Harford County Scholastic Championship. As a result…
- Please bring sets and clocks as our equipment will be used in the Scholastic Tournament.
- As the best players in the room, you will have spectators.
- Rounds for both events do NOT coincide so there will be some bustle during your games. We will work to minimize this.
